Our services

Six ways we support production teams

  • Studio Design Planning

    Studio Design Planning

We plan layouts, sightlines and cabling for new or refitted broadcast studios. The plan sets out where cameras, desks, racks and cable routes sit so the team can build with fewer surprises.

  • Camera Control Systems

    Camera Control Systems

We advise on selecting, configuring and operating remote camera control setups. The aim is a system your operators can run confidently, matched to the size and style of your programmes.

  • Lighting Arrangements

    Lighting Arrangements

We draw lighting plots for news sets, talk shows and live stages. Each plot takes account of camera positions and the look the production wants, and comes with notes the crew can rig from.

  • Sound Engineering Support

    Sound Engineering Support

We give guidance on microphone placement, mixing and monitoring for live and recorded programmes. The advice fits the room, the format and the people who will operate the desk.

  • Production Workflow Review

    Production Workflow Review

We write a review of how your team moves content from camera to transmission. It describes each stage and hand-over, and points to where time or quality is being lost.

  • Live Event Technical Planning

    Live Event Technical Planning

We prepare technical run sheets and equipment plans for live broadcast events. They give the crew a clear sequence of cues and a full picture of what is needed on site.

Choosing a service

What to expect whichever service you choose

Each engagement is scoped in writing, led by a named specialist and delivered as documents your team can use. These points apply across all six services, so you know how the work will feel from the first conversation.

  • Written, specific scope

    Written, specific scope

Before work begins you receive a quotation that states what is included, what we need from you and what could change the proposal.

  • A named specialist

    A named specialist

You work directly with the person who will do the job, whether that is Helen, Daniel or Priya, and they stay your contact throughout.

  • Documents your crew can use

    Documents your crew can use

Plans, plots, run sheets and reviews are written in plain language and laid out so operators and engineers can work from them on the day.

About
In detail

Production Workflow Review

  1. Understanding the current route

We map each stage content passes through, from capture to transmission, including who handles it and which tools are used. This is done through conversations with your team and a look at your documentation.

  2. Finding hand-over problems

We look for points where files wait, formats change or responsibility is unclear. These are often the places where small delays collect and where errors are most likely to enter the process.

  3. Writing the review

You receive a written report describing what we observed, why it matters and which changes we would suggest first. It is written so it can be shared with colleagues who were not part of the conversations.

  4. Talking it through

We go through the findings with you and answer questions, so that the team understands the reasoning behind each suggestion and can decide what to take forward and in what order.
